From NYC to Lima: building connections for people and planet

My name is Jorge "Koki" Andres Ramirez, a socio-environmental project manager drawing on my bicultural background to design creative strategies for addressing the lasting impacts of harmful approaches to managing people and the environment. I work at the intersection of education, culture, ecology, and community to reimagine how we can build more just and resilient futures.

This platform is launched to connect local solutions to a wider audience in efforts to assist those eager to do something of lingering, local social and environmental issues. I aim to collaborate and consult on others' initiatives or formulate them together, with the personal goal of refining and adjusting techniques to fit in different scenarios.

I believe that my bicultural background has given me valuable insight on how to approach communities in both rural and urban settings, as well as for diverse populations, on sustaining local educational, environmental, and social resilience.
